I have long, thick hair and have been using exclusively solid shampoos for about a year - I find the Hydrating One really works with my hair - leaving it soft, clean and smooth and shiny.

This isn't the first shampoo bar I've tried and I was initially disappointed when it didn't lather as well as others I've used. However, my clean scalp and hair I could easily comb through, even before I used the conditioner, changed my mind. I've also realised I really don't have to do two shampoos as long as I make sure it goes everywhere. A great shampoo bar for my curls!

This is my favourite bar.  It leaves my hair feeling clean, soft & puts the bounce back into my wavy hair.  Since using this bar my hairdresser has said that my hair, which I highlight & is going grey, is in much better condition.  It doesn’t lather up very much in our hard water area, so I probably use more than I need to.  I love having a subscription so I don’t need to remember to order, it just arrived through the post every month.

I’ve steered clear of normal detergent based liquid shampoos in bottles for a while now for sake of my hair and the planet. This bar is great, smells lovely and makes my hair really clean - love it

I love the balancing shampoo and I thought I'd give the hydrating one a try but I struggled with this one. It doesn't lather up in the same way and left my hair a bit crunchy, sadly. I'll go back to the balancing one!

My hair is fine ,but I’ve lots of it , passed shoulder length ,with highlights. This amazing shampoo bar lasts for ages, no horrible plastic waste, really suits my hair ,always leaves it perfectly clean ,after using the equally great conditioning bar I’ve shiny, clean hair.

I was a bit sceptical about using these, after a few months of use my hair is in great condition and no longer have to wash it everyday

My hair has never felt so good with the hydrating one shampoo bar!!! Don’t think I will ever go back to using ‘normal’ shampoo.

I can’t fault the shampoo bar it’s one of the best I’ve used. Leaves by hair soft and shiny. This is the first conditioner bar I’ve used and I’m impressed with the results. My only concern is these products are always out of stock! I’ve had to buy elsewhere as but available when I wanted them for the third time!

The best solid shampoo I’ve ever tried - and the one that I’ve stuck with! It’s brilliant with my thick, unruly hair - very hydrating, but my hair doesn’t get greasy quickly.

I really want to do something to reduce my plastic waste output, so switching to shampoo and conditioner bars is part of that. My hair took a wash to get used to it but since then has got its bounce back and I’m really pleased to have made the switch.

I love this hydrating bar for my curly hair it's the most nourished and soft my hair has felt in a long time wish the bar was bigger I love the colour and has no fragrance I will buy it again most definitely.

I alternate washing my hair with this shampoo bar and washing it with rye flour, gram flour, aloe Vera gel and honey! It works a treat for me 😊 Now my hair is happy with this regime, it stays glossy from a week before I need to wash it again. Perfect!

Lovely product BUT - I love the idea of reducing/eliminating plastic waste and am very happy to use the washing bars but you have to know how to use them. I find it difficult to get a lather from the soap bar. I also forget which bar is shampoo and which is conditioner. My friend carves a "V" shape into the shampoo so she doesn't keep washing her hair in conditioner! It would really help to have a simple shape moulded into each bar to clarify.  It has taken a while for my hair to acclimatise to the new regime but is responding well now.

I am a convert. This solid shampoo bar is lovlee to use, easy to get the hang of it and makes your hair silky and soft..... just like shampoo night as a kid.... I now have my boyfriend using it too.... my curls have returned and have I purged plastic in the process

I have been using the KIND2 Hydrating One shampoo and The Restoring One conditioner for a few weeks now. They have brought amazing volume to my thin hair! Really pleased with the products!

Used for the first time and I was sadly disappointed. It’s left my hair feeling heavy & sticky. I may have used too much without realising. As the shampoo doesn’t lather at all it’s really hard to tell! I live in an extremely hard water area (south coast) which possibly doesn’t help! I will try again!

A friend of mine let me use her Kind2 shampoo bar. Wow amazing product my hair is so soft and feels so much cleaner! Two bars last me 3-4 months, on short hair. I only use Kind2 solid shampoo bar now, I definitely recommend trying this awesome product!!

I have been using this shampoo bar for about 18 months now. It is absolutely wonderful. My hair is soft and shiny. Can’t recommend it enough.

Kind 2 hydrating shampoo bar suits my short, wavy grey hair. It doesn’t strip out all the natural oils so my hair stays soft.

I love this bar! I have quite long, fine and thick hair with a sensitive scalp that used to always itch no matter what shampoo I tried. Now my hair is really shiny, I can go an extra day between washes and my hair still looks clean and my scalp doesn’t itch at all. I live in a very hard water area and find I get no lather at all - I have to section my hair and rub the bar into my scalp to spread it well but it’s not a problem and definitely worth it! I never have any trouble rinsing it even if I use a lot - though I find the bar doesn’t necessarily last longer than a bottle would’ve.

Not worth it.  Zero lather, used sulphate free shampoos for years (allergy) so expected it to not lather like standard shampoo.  Wanted to like it, kept at it for two weeks  but not mastered a satisfactory result.   Leaves my hair heavy and dank.

Excelente for volume, my hair feels clean and with more volume after using the Hydrating One solid shampoo bar.

Really impressed with this shampoo bar, left my hair soft and feeling super clean with no plastic residue. Another great bonus is I only have to wash my hair twice a week now rather than every other day. Please don’t be put off by the fact it doesn’t bubble or foam up, this can take a bit of getting used to but definitely worth it. Sue in customer service is a credit to this company, incredibly helpful, it’s lovely to buy from and support a small business . Will absolutely be trying the conditioner bar too.

Having tried another shampoo bar previously which left my hair feeling sticky and difficult to brush, I am really pleased with this bar which leaves my hair feeling much smoother.

I’ve really struggled with dry hair after having it Bleached! Until someone recommended the hydrating bar to me! My hair is now as healthy as it’s ever been! I can’t recommend this product enough !!

This was my first experience of using a shampoo bar so I didn't really know what to expect. Unlike other brands I have read about this shampoo bar didn't leave any kind of residue. It was really easy to use and didn't make my hair feel tangled. It has a subtle fragrance which reminded me a little of old fashioned sherbert powder without the lemon! Reading some of the reviews I was expecting no lather whatsoever but was pleasantly surprised by the amount it produced. I have used low lather natural products before so perhaps I am used to it. Really great product, that left my hair feeling clean but not dry, will definitely buy again. So glad I can ditch one more plastic bottle!

I have dry, bleached, colour treated, medium length hair and I'm dealing with hair loss, an abundance of allergies, and have a newly acquired scalp itch. I can't use of standard hair products, so  was relieved to find this conditioner. Its not as hydrating as I would like but it seems to be working well the more times I use it, my hair feels clean, healthy , lightweight and the itch has gone and I don't need to wash my hair as often. Time will tell to see if it helps with my hair growth.

This particular bar didn't work for my hair but they got in contact with me, gave me a full refund and helped me find the right one.

I have been trying dry shampoos for almost a year now with a variety of results, most of them disappointing. I found that unfortunately I had to go mainstream brands to get an OK result otherwise my hair would look waxy and I felt I always had some residu left. KIND2 leaves my hair feeling perfect and clean, very happy 😊.

Tried a few solid shampoos and this one has helped deal with static hair. It’s not gone completely but my hair feels clean after use. I lather up the bar in my hands and use the lather to wash the hair rather than the bar. This seems to work for me. Other bars disintegrate after time. This one seems pretty solid so far.

I’ve tried many solid shampoo bars and this is one of the poorest. I’m not expecting a head of foam and bubbles, but it’s a very dense bar with little to no lather. I spent way too long rubbing it against my scalp hoping for some residue with which to soap my hair. Quite unpleasant, actually!

I love this product and am so glad I made the switch. My hair feels fab, it lasts longer than a bottle and smells great

Really does the trick and paired with the conditioner bar it leaves my hair feeling very nice. 4 stars because its not the cheapest and would be good if the bar lasted a bit longer/was a bit larger, lasted about 3 months for me. Doesn't stop me from getting it again though, it's good stuff.

One of the better shampoo bars I've tried. I need to wash my hair twice and I get no lather. My hair feels good, but no better than with other shampoos.

Unfortunately I didn't get on with the product. The smell was off putting and I really struggled to get it to lather. I have gone back to a lush product.

This is a high quality shampoo bar, but I don’t think it’s the right one for my hair. I have fine hair that gets oily quickly, and while the bar does clean it well, it leaves my hair a bit flatter than other bars I’ve tried. I also have to spend a lot of time in the shower to make sure my hair gets properly clean. I would recommend this for people with normal/dry hair though!

This is my third purchase of this shampoo bar - and I totally LOVE IT! I have long, think hair and have struggled to find "the one" that works for me. And now I have. It makes my hair feel so much more healthier. As I struggle with a very sensitive scalp the natural ingredients make a real difference, sulphate free is the way to go. Am sure you can tell, this shampoo bar comes highly recommended from me :-)

I just love this company, their commitment to the planet and to people. I am adjusting to the shampoo. I cannot get any lather. The conditioner, it feels like I haven't done anything. But, my hair looks and feels great afterwards. So I'm sticking with it

I was looking forward to trying this bar as I was attracted to the lower Ph compared to most other bars. I was disappointed by the lack of lather - my hair didn’t feel clean afterwards and felt heavy the next day (despite good rinsing).  I did follow the instructions for use but this one was not for me. Sorry to say this as customer service was very good when I had a question.

My scalp feels much better from the years of abuse it has suffered from all the bad ingredients I realised were in every other shampoo.... had to get used to getting the bar to get into a lather - you need to make sure hair is completely wet and massage the bar before you apply it to your hair, but is worth it for all the positives of this product, and hair does feel really good and healthy now

Didn’t like this bar, didn’t lather up well

I was disappointed with this. I have oily hair and was hoping to be able to skip the conditioner a few times a week using ‘The hydrating one’. In fact, I found I had to use double the amount of kind2 conditioner because this was too drying. I also found the product hard to use. I had to work really hard rubbing the bar on my hair (as per the instructions) to work up any kind of lather. I will say though that the customer service of the company is fantastic as there were issues applying my discount when ordering which were swiftly sorted.  I’m just disappointed this solid shampoo is not right for my hair.

I really wanted this to work for me but I am struggling to rinse it clean away from my hair.  Initially I was using far too much trying to get it too lather as I’ve in a hard water area and so use to bottle shampoo that foams easily.  This resulted in a build up which I just couldn’t rinse away no matter how much I rinse.  I’d have to result to using bottle shampoo to get the residue removed.  So now I continue to use it but use a lot less product and I make sure my hair is really wet first then a smooth it over my hair then rub the bar in my hands and get it into my scalp.  I do find I still find I can’t seem to rinse it thoroughly away but I have only used it 5 times.  I love how my hair feels when I get it right as normal shampoo really strips my hair leaving it feeling dry and frizzy.  I have thick shoulder length hair.  
I will persevere :). Dedicated to helping reduce plastic.

I did a lot of research into shampoo bars after a few failed attempts. I was hoping this would be the one for my hair as pH balanced. It has been okay so far, but my hair does feel dryer and I have had to wash it more that normal. I tried increasing the amount I was using but that left my hair feeling horrible, even though I spent a long time washing it out. I am hopeful that give it a few more weeks it will work for me as the environmental benefits are worth it!

Sadly doesn't really suit my hair.  Don't like leaving negative feedback.  Seems like a great company, just not for me.x

It's very good, by far the best solid shampoo I tried so far in London's hard water. Sadly it's still not hydrating enough for my curly hair

I take my showers before bed and it always leaves my hair very nice the next day and a few after. However when using the bar it’s annoying it doesn’t foam up as much as I wanted.. I know this is because of the fact that it is all organic but still.. I will buy it again because of the fact my hair feels lovely.

It was my first time using this type of hair care product, and I was not disappointed. After using the product hair were soft and shiny, and the fact that I am not adding to the plastic waste by using dry shampoo and conditioner makes it feel even better. Would definitely recommend. I’ve been wanting to change to a shampoo bar for some time. I chose this one because of the awards it has received and I have not been disappointed with the results. My hair is fine, curly and thin in places. The shampoo has made a noticeable difference to the texture of my hair. It is a lot curlier and appears thicker so I am not constantly thinking my scalp is visible through my hair. I am very pleased with the results and highly recommend.

Too much perfume effect for me. Otherwise very happy, this is the first non soap I found other than Nivea face wash. Lathers very well even in the hard water at my house.

Loving the luxurious feel of this Kind2 shampoo bar as it bubbles and foams up. Really easy to apply, it left my hair squeaky clean but with none of the fly-away frizziness once my hair had dried. I tried The Hydrating One. 

The ingredients (few) are obviously magic ... as they're able to do all of this without being toxic. 

Grateful that there are companies creating WOW-factor products like this one. 

Nope. Not missing the plastic bottles of liquid shampoo even one little bit. 

How this doesn't become a staple in any traveller's toiletries bag is beyond me. No fear of spillage ... imagine.

I like this shampoo bar. It leaves my hair soft and clean and not dry and frizzy like normal shampoo. I do use a normal conditioner after, it seems to work well.

This is the best solid bar shampoo I have tried so far. It smells lovely and leaves my hair clean and shiny.

I've half curly, half straight, dry / frizzy on top hair (kill me now). I've tried other shampoo bars with and without conditioner and all left my hair as dry as straw, and hugely static. This bar, without conditioner, is AMAZING. It doesn't lather easily, but lather usually means too much surfactant and thus dryness. It does clean properly though - unlike low-poo liquids I've tried before that left me greasy. My hair now dries naturally without frizz or dryness and is more curled / bouncy. So happy!

It's a bit getting used to applying it, but in pretty sure you get the hang of it quit soon. My hair was like I hoped it would be: not as fluffy, it feels a bit heavier. I've only used it once do things may only be getting better. I'm happy with it!

I like this shampoo. It’s one of the better ones I’ve used and would be happy to stick with it but it doesn’t last long enough for me despite keeping it in a dry place which make it a bit too pricey for me.

I’ve been using this bar for about a month now and I absolutely love it! It makes my hair feel super soft and shiny and I love the brand. The only downside is that it doesn’t lather up that well but I’m new to using bars so am getting used to it. Next time I would purchase the sensitive one only because I’ve noticed my scalp gets kind of itchy and a bit flakey after a few days, that’s just my hair type though and I still love the overall effect!

Such a great wash using the hydrating one and the conditioner. Even got my boyfriend on it now. My thick and wiry hair becomes soft and shiny. Couldn’t recommend more! The sensitive one really helps my boyfriend’s scalp sensitivity. Thank you Kind2!

The shampoo its self is great- the formula works really well. I loved using it- my hair has responded really well to it when everything else has only ever left my hair greasy and limp. 
However, the shampoo got used up really fast compared to how much I actually used it- I've used it 1 x a week max, and my boyfriend used it 1 x a week max - and we've had it for 3 months- so it was used for 24 washes in total and already shrank down to a size where it broke into tiny pieces. It's stated that it lasts the same amount as 2 x 250ml bottles of normal shampoo- but my experience hasn't lasted that long at all as a normal shampoo bottle would've lasted me around 6-9 months. So I think the amount and the shape could do with being different so it doesn't break into tiny pieces easily and also maybe more product per bar as it goes down quicker than conventional shampoo.

This product is OK, but I wasn't terribly impressed. The shampoo doesn't lather well (I am in a very hard water area), either in my hands or being rubbed directly into my hair. Very expensive for the quality of wash, so I'm not intending to buy it again.

Having used shampoo bars for the past two years I wanted to see if this one really did leave hair as soft as reviews said, as other bars I have used left my hair a little wiry. It does! So surprised just how soft it leaves my hair, and that’s without conditioner.

Maybe my hair is transitioning, but I have to use a lot of the product to produce any lather. For the price I’m a little disappointed which is a shame as I really wanted to love it.

No better, no worse than others I have tried. Was kind of hoping this one would be better, given the description! I feel like I have to give it 2 goes to get my hair clean which takes me longer in the shower...

I decided to try Kind2 after another brand (that starts with L and ends with SH) gave me a dry and flakey scalp!! Something which has never happened before with any other brand (and yes, I tried several different bars!) The Hydrating one is nice and gentle and my flakey scalp has recovered in I my a few weeks. Phew! The fragrance is not very strong however and I'm finding it harder to get a good lather when running into my hair. Usually I take a good lather as a sign that it's working well, but this one still seems to be giving a good clean without - just something to get used to!

I’ve use this one and the sensitive one and whilst the sensitive one is love and nice to use once in a while, my hair, which tends to be dry, responds a lot better to this one over time and feels thicker and smoother (the sensitive one makes it feel soft but flatter - I have fine, shoulder length hair)

It works well with my long hair. I was using other shampoo bars which made my hair dry and tangly, but this and The Restoring One made it nice and smooth, bouncy, healthy looking hair. Thank you!

I’ve tried quite a few different shampoo bars and it’s hard to find the right one. Some don’t lather up well and don’t give a feel of having washed the hair. Some of the more lather-ey ones can be quite drying. This one is great - gives a nice lather, but doesn’t seem to dry my hair. It smells really nice, but not in an overpowering way. The conditioner is fab too!

It doesn’t need to produce lots of lather to clean the hair. It also miraculously doesn’t strip the already dry hair and make it more straw like. Suddenly my wild grey hair has body and curl back along with shine. Cannot say more. It’s also doesn’t make my head itch. Thank you.

I have long, heavy hair. This shampoo is everything. It smells great, washed and rinses easily and doesn't leave my hair in a knotty mess.
Combined with the restoring conditioner, my hair gets feels much lighter and softer and it gets its natural volume back.

I’ve used it twice, my hair feels good. It froths up nicely.
