The Bridge Bit Loafer started off as a concept design back in 2019, and took design inspiration from the Clifton suspension bridge. Following a year of meticulous refining, the Bridge Buckle Loafer is here for its official release this summer. Made by traditional British artisans, using sumptuous and sustainable Cactus leather, this design echoes tradition, originality and modernism.

Why Cactus Leather?

To begin with, “what is Cactus leather?” Cactus material, also called “nopal” leather, is a vegan material made from the cactus plant. It has a lovely soft texture, similar to that of caviar grain leather, and is supple but strong. It is also known for being very breathable and praised by industry experts for its ability to offer the luxury market with a leather alternative. Which makes sense, as it shares many characteristics to that of traditional high quality animal leather, but with an overwhelming number of benefits.

All ROSS OLIVER items need to be returned in an unmarked, unused condition with the original packaging including dust bag(s). The branded shoe box is considered as part of the product and should be returned in a protective shipping box. Due to the delicate nature and colour of our soles, shoes should be tried on a clean dry protected surface (e.g. a carpeted surface) and away from any moisture. Shoes that are returned with marked soles may also not be accepted. Any items that have been altered or repaired by an external repair service will not be accepted for a refund or exchange.
